About Us

​

We are a group of  8 enterprising people representing all ages, backgrounds residing mainly in the NY-NJ-CT  Tri-State area but also in other states and even Canada.  As members of an E-Club, we share an interest in sharing our experience, knowledge, and concern to help those around us and elsewhere in the world who are in need.  Our Club President is an educator and has been a Rotarian who passionately believes in "Service Above Self".

The idea of forming a Rotary Club was born quite a while ago.    It took us almost no time to gather all the information necessary and to get ourselves organized.  Taking over a dormant Rotary Club, we were able to get started quickly.

We will gradually grow our membership with like-minded individuals with a passion for service.  We will endeavor to undertake local and international projects, large and small, leveraging our own resources with those of like-minded individuals and organizations, as well as those of the Rotary District and the Rotary Foundation.

We also hope to engage with neighboring Rotary Clubs and other service organizations.

​

While we  have taken over the charter of a dormant Rotary Club, we are looking to seek approval of a new name, which much better reflects our aspirations and focus.  For the foreseeable future due to our widely spread-out membership, we will meet regularly via Zoom, but our emphasis is on projects rather than meeting for the sake of meetings.
